Presents Mick Feeney is one of Irelands Most respected entertainers on the Country Music Circuit. Mick was born in Dublin and at the tender age of 16 and due to the economic Circumstances in Ireland at that time He moved to England where he played the Irish Pubs and Clubs,He soon became very popular for his guitar playing and vocals and was much sought after. Des and Johnny Kelly of the then Chart topping Captial Showband were playing at Birminghams Shamrock Dance Hall when they were told of The great new Country Singer who was packing the Clubs and Pubs of the City. Out of curiosity they found out where he was preforming and went along to have a listen to this new kid on the block, As they entered the New Inns Pub in the Acocks Green area of Birmingham they were overcome by the massive crowd that only visiting bands from the old country enjoyed.
